What to Expect From your Energy Therapy Session & Consent

     Welcome!  Healing Energy Therapy is a relaxing, nurturing healing therapy where therapists consciously use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to enhance, support, and facilitate physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health and self-healing.  Healing touch works with your energy field to support your natural ability to heal.  It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care.  The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has approved Healing Touch and uses it as a training tool for their nursing programs.    

 

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION

 

            The first session involves a consultation as well as the energy session itself.  I will ask questions regarding your goals for self healing and what your intent for your session and subsequent sessions will be.  Then you, the client, will lie fully clothed on a massage table while I will gently place my hands slightly above or on you. The session generally lasts 40 to 60 minutes (first appointment may take longer), and clients frequently report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session. Healing Energy Therapy session costs are $70.00 session only.  See my Healing Modalities Offered for more options.  There is a cumulative effect of using Healing Touch Energy Therapy over time and regular sessions are recommended.

Please Note:  Healing Touch Energy Therapy does not take the place of traditional medical treatments and is considered an integrative therapy. Any recommendations that I may make are to be considered an invitation and a perspective.   Healing Touch Energy Therapy works in conjunction with traditional healthcare.   Also, what is important to realize for you, the client, is I am not the healer YOU are.  I am a facilitator of energy and a guide that assists you with finding your path of well-being as an individual. 

      I set the intention for each session with "The Highest and Best Good for you".  I ask before your session that you also contemplate what you want to accomplish for the session.  Your path is in your hands nobody else can do this for you.  Where your mind goes ENERGY flows.........

      If you are unable to keep your appointment, I ask that you call 423 231-0931 as soon as possible so I will not be expecting you and thinking something may have happened. If you are more than 30 minutes late, rescheduling will be necessary.  I also will ask you to sign a copy of this document at the time of your first session so that I will know that you have read and understood this information.  By reading and signing this document, you, the client, consent to Healing Touch Energy Therapy and release me, Tina Martin, from any liability, except for gross negligence or malpractice.  You also are informed that any and all medical or personal information will never be disclosed or shared without written consent from you.
