Ground, Center, & Establish Boundaries

If you ask why grounding, centering, and establishing boundaries are so important in our lives now, I invite you to ponder on your family, your community, your state, your country, your Earth, and the Universe for one moment. Do specific issues in each of these areas call your energy to be at its best? Does your mind, body, and spirit need to be present to deal effectively with current events in these areas? Do we need to act instead of react in any or all of these areas? Do we need to be present in our mind, body, and spirit to determine the best good for ourselves, our families, our communities, and so on? Is there a need to look at the issues within and without our own selves without misinformation or outside chatter affecting our energy systems? Are you feeling helpless and chaotic in thoughts and actions? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then grounding, centering, and establishing boundaries are needed desperately at this time.

GROUNDING: Some feelings suggestive of the need to ground are feeling beside ones self, unbalanced emotionally, physically and spiritually. If you are hyperactive, grounding is essential, because grounding will transmute excessive energy. Suggestive feelings of being ungrounded are "monkey mind" as well, which are thoughts that go from taking the trash out, to baking a cake, to an alien invasion; all in three seconds and replaying the scenario over and over and adding to the melee , especially when trying to relax, pray, or meditate (anyone out there have this scenario?) Well.....I do..... Grounding increases your strength, flexibility, and the amount of energy your system can manage. It improves your ability to stay balanced and restores your energy when you are depleted. One sure way to ground is to get outside and feel the Earth beneath your feet. Not for just a second but for a period of time that you connect presently with your feet and feel them sink into the ground. Yes, this can be done on a cold winter's day. Connecting with the Earth inside is basically visualizing the same thing. In time, you will have a sensation of energy extending from your feet into the ground and that is the most stabilizing sensation that you can imagine. You will feel energy flow from you to the Earth and the Earth energy flowing back into you.

CENTERING: There is one sensation that is the best way that I can tell it is time for me to center and that is shallow breathing. Centering is the art of bringing your awareness back to your body, connecting with your path and purpose, your core, and your Source. It is your sacred space within. Sensing everything within your own skin just as it is in the present and becoming aware of where you are on this Earth simultaneously. Consciously breathing in slow deep breaths and exhaling slowly is the best way to center and become present. I inhale all that is good for me and exhale everything that I no longer need as I place my hand over my Dan Tien (sacral chakra), which is the area just below your naval and visualizing the color orange. I begin at my head and slowly go down my body releasing tension that I am holding in my body, timing it with my breath. I feel the energy connect my purpose with heart (Shen)for the highest and best good.

BOUNDARIES: Establishing boundaries is perhaps something that most people are unaware that they need to do on a daily basis. It is not just for healers. Your boundary is the place where you end and another begins. We are all interconnected but we are also separate individuals with our own distinct energy that is patterned to us uniquely. Having a boundary in place allows you to act from your own center and connect to your spiritual Source. Healthy boundaries allow independence of thought and action, allowing you to interact with others without losing your personal identify and autonomy. Establishing boundaries is essential as an energy healer. However, it is very beneficial and practical for everyone. Example: Entering a multifunctioning retail store that has groceries, clothes, drug store, tires, and office supplies and anything else you might need. At times, energies are so overwhelming that you do not want to shop there. Feeling the energies of people that are paying too much for this or that, screaming children, complaining store employees, heightened emotions everywhere, can be invasive to your energy system. Establishing your boundaries in this situation is imperative. That way you do not leave with any energy that is not your own. Another example is hospitals where you have concentrated illnesses, emotions, and death. If I do not ground, center, and establish boundaries before going into any hospital for any reason, I can be sure I will have energies of others that I do not need attaching to me, especially in the trauma units. When you abandon your boundaries, or your space has been invaded, the discomfort can be such that it is easier to disconnect from your body than to feel it. This impacts your decision making abilities, your centeredness, and your grounding. You lose your personal power. Over-ridged boundaries, however make you feel like a victim and you become overly protective, or become detached and unwilling to connect with people. your aura becomes hard and impenetrable and your energy stays coiled in your chakras. You lose people's input, support, and exchange of energy. Flow is essential to health and function. Without flow you become isolated. Isolation causes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health problems. Overly rigid boundaries give the illusion of personal power, yet are as energetically disabling as not having any boundaries at all. My best suggestion for establishing boundaries is visualization. I envision myself encased in an egg, a beautiful egg of white light with pink sparkles dancing around me inside the egg. It is semipermeable and it is a filter. It filters out anything I do not need and allows everything in that I do need. This sounds extremely simple ......and it is.......yet powerfully effective!!!

There are a myriad of other ways to ground, center, and establish boundaries. If you are interested in these life changing ways of actively functioning at our highest level in our daily lives, please email me for more information or come to the free Energy Gathering February 25, 2017 from 11:00am to 1:00pm to experience hands on techniques. Once practiced routinely, grounding, centering, and establishing boundaries, can be activated by saying the words and visualizing (in just a few moments). These are practical and powerful techniques that are very needed but not taught by allopathic medicine as part of self-care. These three techniques, changed my life!!!! I was very sensitive (felt everyone's energy upon entering a room, vivid dreams, had to be alone for long periods of time, wanted to stay in nature, could not be in competition, loud noises sent me into a terror, smells were triggers to memories and places, colors affected my mood, temperature sensitive, could not be in a crowd, loss of time, day dreamed, fatigue for no reason, immune disorder, weather sensitive, saw colors around people, trees, and animals, saw beings no one else could see, etc.) When I was taught these techniques as part of self care as well as attuning, I was forever changed and FREE to move in this world. My discernment improved, my intuition improved, and my fears abated. My experience with these techniques was so life changing, it made me want to share them with everyone ......

With much love and much understanding.........
